Tooele is one of three health districts involved in the program.

Program Goals:
To help child care providers improve their nutrition and physical activity using the following tools:
- child care self-assessment
- goal- setting
- workshop training
- technical assistance from health department staff, and other local health professionals

Workshops- If you would like to use these trainings to receive 10 hours of career ladder credit in level 1, Health & Safety or in levels 5-8, please contact Malaena at (435) 277-2481 or mtoohey@utah.gov to fill out the appropriate paperwork. Before you begin each workshop, please print off the numbered handouts, quiz and evaluation listed under each workshop. You will need to complete the handouts throughout the presentation. At the end of the workshop, please complete the quiz and evaluation for each workshop. After completing all 6 workshops, you will need to complete 1 hour of homework.
