Appropriate Prophylaxis and Vaccination Strategies in Case of an Event

 
 
   

The Tooele County Health Department is continually increasing it's capacity to provide mass vaccination clinics and services in case of an emergency.

Planning and preparing to vaccinate our community in the event of a crisis is a difficult and demanding task.

Each year, the Tooele County Health Department offers Tooele County Residents and Visitors mass clinics.  Each clinic is carefully evaluated step by step after completion.   The health department uses various criteria to  determine the successfulness of each clinic.

Preparing for a Mass Clinic
A mass vaccination clinic offered in a local  public school.
 Two of the important criteria evaluated are:
(1) How many residents were we able to vaccinate in a given amount of time, and:
(2) How many minutes did each client spend in the clinic receiving services, some of which include:

Mass Clinic receiving vaccination
