Cancer is a word which describes a group
of diseases that share the same character of uncontrolled growth
and spread of abnormal cells in the body. It's a complex disease. There are over 100 different types of cancer. These diseases
all manifest themselves in different ways. It's easy to think
that the development of cancer is something you have no control
over. The truth is you can do a great many things to reduce your
risk.
The thought of cancer is scary. But, it doesn't have to be. Most all cancers can be prevented and/or treated. The secret is finding cancer at it early, most treatable, stage.
